Your Questions About Constipation And OsmoLax® Relief Answered
The main symptom of constipation is a hard, dry stool that is infrequent or difficult to pass.
There are many causes of constipation, but the main cause is due to the slow movement of the stools through the bowel. The large bowel absorbs water from the stools when they are not moved regularly and this can result in small or hard, dry stools being formed that are difficult to pass.
OsmoLax® Relief helps restore the body's natural rhythm. It is virtually unabsorbed so it remains in the bowel increasing the amount of water in the stool. This hydrates and softens the stool, making it easier to pass. The result is a more natural, comfortable and more controlled bowel movement.
OsmoLax® Relief usually takes 1 to 3 days to help restore the body's natural rhythm and produce a bowel movement. It results in a more natural and comfortable bowel movement which allows you to stay in control.
